Senior Partner James Manasseh
Relying on more than twenty years of experience, James Manasseh is a trial attorney by nature and by training. He has built a reputation for successful trial work and in fighting for his clients' rights. Manasseh has also learned that a trial is not always in his clients' best interests. Fortunately for his clients, that reputation for winning in court provides him an advantage in negotiations when a trial is not what his client seeks.
James Manasseh earned early distinction for his innovative legal mind and tenacity. Less than three years out of law school, he successfully argued before the United States Supreme Court in Foucha vs. Louisiana on behalf of a client who had been found not guilty by reason of insanity. The resulting ruling of the Supreme Court changed legal precedent in this country, which prevents the government from holding insanity acquittees who have been found to be no longer mentally ill.
Partner Robert Gill
Criminal defense attorney and former Judge Advocate General Robert Gill joined the firm in 1995 after serving his country as a captain in the U.S. Army. As a former prosecutor and accomplished defense counsel, Gill possesses substantial trial experience that continues to be invaluable for clients facing civilian and military criminal charges.
